November is National Family Caregivers Month!
Caregivers are usually unsung heroes!
They give so much more than we would ever know.
Many times, putting their own needs on hold, in order to meet the needs of a loved one, they give much more than just care.
Following President Obama's Proclamation in 2012, every November we celebrate all Family Caregivers and recognise the invaluable role they play to help our societies stay strong.
Join me this month as I share a little bit of my eleven years Family Caregiver journey, some things I have learned and I'm still learning.
Also, as we celebrate Family Caregivers, I would like to increase the awareness on Caregiver Burnout, something I consider one of the many silent health crisis in our societies today.
